These are where memories are made.
Tonight as we decorated our Easter Eggs, I watched my two boys and husband have fun. I realized I am behind the one behind the scenes, but it allows me the chance to sit back and watch. Take it all in and get the pictures.
I am the keeper of the memories.
I would not trade this for the world! We are blessed that we get to do these activities!
I feel ya! I like being the keeper of memories, but some of those memories involve your kids' mother too! Why are Dads so horrible at taking the camera and snapping a few pictures of mom and kids!? I guess they're just more "in the moment" kind of people. Still, even though I hate how I look in pictures a lot, I know my children will want pictures of them WITH their mom too, even if she did have that horrible haircut that year, or awful style through their teen years, or extra 40 pounds she would love to live without. Hopefully your husband will snap some pictures every now and then :)
