I am who I am

As I get older, the idea of "I am who I am" should get easier to accepts. For me it is not.  I find myself second guessing what I am saying, wearing, my personality, and my weight.

I don't feel that most others are not going to accept me for me.

I guess this comes from my lack of confidence. This is a goal of mine.  I am working on being myself and developing that confidence I see all around me.

  1. The Slice of Life is one place for others to accept you and see you for the person you are...a mother of two beautiful little boys...oh how cute, I checked on your Daydreaming post. You are bettering yourself through education...and then sharing your gifts with your students. I could list so many positives about you...just from reading your posts...so I hope you will be able to do the same. You are the only one who can give yourself self confidence...others can see all the positive in you...you must believe in who you are. And when in doubt...look at those two handsome boys and know they are two important reasons you are doing things right. Jackie http://familytrove.blogspot.com/

  2. I agree with Jackie's comment above. This slicing challenge is a safe place to be yourself, and I think your goal of working on that fits naturally in with the slicing community. I applaud you for making this a goal of yours! - Carrie iowatobrisbane.wordpress.com
